We are hiring a TIG Welder Titanium Norway to join our long-term industrial project involving the prefabrication of offshore modules. The job takes place in a modern Norwegian workshop environment, requiring precision welding on titanium pipes and strict adherence to offshore welding specifications and safety protocols.
RAM SVEIS OG BEMANNING AS is seeking highly experienced TIG welders specialized in titanium to work on an offshore module construction project in Norway. This role is focused on pipe welding using TIG (GTAW) process on titanium materials (mainly grade 2 and 5), under controlled workshop conditions.
Successful candidates will work with isometric drawings, follow project-specific WPS, and ensure high-quality welds that meet international standards. The working environment is stable, well-equipped, and compliant with DNV and ISO welding regulations.
Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on titanium pipes and components for prefabricated offshore modules in workshop environment.
Prepare weld joints, align pipes and clean surfaces in accordance with WPS and project tolerances.
Execute root and filler passes using argon shielding and back-purging techniques, ensuring oxide-free welds.
Follow strict control of interpass temperature, joint geometry and purge gas flow for titanium.
Read and interpret isometric drawings, weld maps, and fabrication specs accurately.
Work in coordination with QC/NDT teams to meet radiographic and visual inspection standards.
Record welding activities for traceability under ISO 3834 and EN 9606 certifications.
Comply with all HSE and offshore fabrication workshop safety procedures.
Legal Norwegian employment contract with full worker rights.

Transport: Organized and covered (local + international).
Rotation: 14 days on / 21 days off.
Working Hours: 11.5 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Proven experience in TIG welding on titanium pipes (FM52) – industrial level.
Valid or expired welding certificates that confirm past titanium welding activity.
Readiness to perform on-site welding test and certification in Norway.
