Job Description

As a Steel Construction Fitter, you will play a vital role in constructing and maintaining steel structures critical to offshore drilling platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Steel Structure Assembly: Assembling and installing structural components such as beams, frames, supports, and other essential elements.
• Material Preparation: Cutting, grinding, cleaning, and aligning structural elements to ensure precision during assembly.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Performing regular inspections to meet safety and operational standards. You will also carry out repairs to maintain the structural integrity of the platform as needed.
• Compliance with Standards: Ensuring all work aligns with industry regulations, including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.

Start Date: Immediate

• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel construction or a similar role.
• Proven experience in assembling and fitting steel structures, including beams, frames, and supports.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints independently.
• Familiarity with technical WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and preparation processes.
• Basic knowledge of welding processes (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Conversational knowledge of English is required.
• Must pass an on-site work trial before starting the position.
