Job Opportunity: Welder 136/138 in Norway

RAM SVEIS OG BEMANNING is seeking experienced Welders 136/138 for a long-term project in Norway. The project involves the production and welding of platforms for drilling operations, with immediate start dates and ongoing opportunities.

Scope of Work:

• Steel Structure Welding: Weld various deck components such as beams, trusses, supports, and other load-bearing structures using MIG/MAG or other appropriate welding techniques.
• Preparatory Work: Cut, grind, clean, and fit structural elements before welding.
• Inspection and Repair: Regularly inspect and repair existing structures to maintain safety and operational continuity.
• Standards Compliance: Follow industry standards, including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines, and adhere to welding quality standards for drilling platform structures.

• Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Current welding certificate 138/136 (T BW/FW FM1 M/P (M/R) t18 D168 H-L045 ss nb)
  • Ability to read technical WPS independently
  • Conversational knowledge of English is preferred
  • Must pass an on-site work trial before starting
